The River Of Life Mission Opportunity
River of Life
Family Ministries believe that God created the church as the vehicle in which the
Gospel of Jesus Christ is to be taken throughout the entire world. Local assemblies are
responsible to"...go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."
Mark 16:15 (NASB). Scripture tells us that Jesus commanded the church (e.g. the apostles)
to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and the name of the Son and the Holy Spirit, teach them to observe all that I command
you;" Matthew 28:19-20a (NASB). As a ministry that is not a local church, we desire to come
along side the church and assist in building it. We do this by bringing people in who might
never come into a church so that they might hear the Word of truth and be saved. Then we
point them to a local body in which they can begin growing. I also believe that a new
believer will be more apt to see the importance of being involved in the local church
if he/she is able to see God-honoring churches in action.
We believe our camp
would be best served by inviting church groups to be part of our mission to win the lost.
Does your church have a desire to tell others about Christ? Is your church interested in
home missions? Is your church looking for a place to serve as missionaries for a week long
missions project? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions then I want to invite
you to join us for such an opportunity. River of Life has six weeks of camp going in 2007
and we need churches that are looking for a place to serve. We need counselors, cooks,
medical personnel, maintenance, horse wranglers, life guards, assistant counselors, activity
leaders, and general laborers. If you are looking
for such an opportunity, please contact us at Info@totheRiverofLife.com to learn how your church group can be part of a growing camp ministry that desires to bring
people into the kingdom and into the local church, and desires to give Christian young people
and adults a deeper understanding and love for missions. |
